Kristina Krug is an editorial and commercial photographer that hails from Chicago. She delivers honest portraits and relatable narratives filled with empathy, humor, and warmth. Her work celebrates human dignity, courage, hope; her curiosity about people, how they think, and what motivates them. She is often drawn to the offbeat and unexpected moments found in everyday life, and she shoots editorial, commercial, and personal projects with the same approach.
With an early proclivity for the visual and language arts, Kristina went on to receive a BFA; and for a decade built a successful career in Chicago as a freelance art director. She cultivated her interests in art film, cinematography, surrealism, and Jungian psychology, which subsequently led her to a career in photography.
