Kristina Krug is a photojournalist who specializes in editorial portraits, reportage, and brand narratives.
Kristina is drawn to themes of resilience, courage, and hope. She captures real people living everyday moments that reflect a lightness of being or at times a hard truth. Her portraits and visual narratives are cinematic, yet relatable as they convey a sense of place, stillness, and warmth.
Originally from Chicago, Kristina was based in Nashville for 20 years. During the pandemic she ventured west, travelled cross-country twice – in 2020 and again in 2022. While in Montana, Washington, Oregon, and Utah she developed a passion for landscapes and abstract compositions, and is currently editing that body of work.
Kristina is now based in Washington, D.C. and available for brief short- and long-term assignments throughout the U.S. and worldwide.
